When choosing a venue for their wedding, Nicole and Jesse looked no further than their own neighbourhood. And when you live in the inner-city, why wouldn’t you take advantage of what’s all around you? Great little cafes, bars and pubs can be transformed into unique wedding venues with a little imagination. Coffee catch ups by day, Champagne toasts by night. Three Williams in Redfern provided the perfect ceremony and celebration space for Nicole and Jesse’s big day.

WHAT WE LOVED
When choosing a venue for their wedding, Nicole and Jesse looked no further than their own neighbourhood. And when you live in the inner-city, why wouldn’t you take advantage of what’s all around you? Great little cafes, bars and pubs can be transformed into unique wedding venues with a little imagination. Coffee catch ups by day, Champagne toasts by night. Three Williams in Redfern provided the perfect ceremony and celebration space for Nicole and Jesse’s big day.
Nicole and Jesse met photographer Samantha Heather earlier in the afternoon for their photos. This meant they could have their beloved Greta there for some shots, they could make the most of that glorious late afternoon light and they could head straight into celebrations with their guests after their ceremony.
WHAT WE LEARNED
You don’t have to have your ceremony during the day! Nicole and Jesse’s ceremony was at 6.30pm (once Three Williams had closed for the day.) And choosing a Friday night was genius. Not only did this mean minimal disruption to their guests’ work day, but also left them with a whole weekend to celebrate.
