When it came to getting married, John and Jeff had two priorities – good friends and good food (maybe add in good Champagne too!) Location and date were also important. They wanted to get married in Sydney, the town where they met and fell in love and they wanted to wed on their 15th anniversary.

WHAT WE LOVED
Finding a venue where you can have your ceremony and celebrations all in the one place, and also serves exceptional food and delicious cocktails is genius! It really is the easiest way to wed. And trust us, guests who are comfortable, don’t have to wait around, don’t have to travel too far and are fed and watered well are happy guests. And happy guests means guaranteed good times!
WHAT WE LEARNED
Sometimes it makes sense to work backwards when planning your wedding. John and Jeff started with where they wanted to celebrate. O Bar and Dining is a restaurant they love which has spectacular views across Sydney, and it revolves so you get to see it from every angle! Their ceremony was held in the restaurant foyer before they opened for lunch service and their reception took place in the private dining room. They did their couple portraits with their photographer, Jason, before arriving, so that as soon as the ceremony was over, they could get straight to celebrating with their guests. Genius!
